New specifications for the popular 787B -Reproduces the appearance currently preserved at Mazda ●Removable front and rear cowls, engine reproduction The Mazda 787B was the first Japanese car, and the first car powered by a non-reciprocating engine, to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The sound of its R26B four-rotor rotary engine still captivates people today. Of the three 787Bs produced, the most famous is the Le Mans-winning car, number 55, chassis number 787B-002. It is still preserved by Mazda, and in 2011 it was restored to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the victory, and made a demonstration run at Le Mans. The Mazda 787B has been very popular at TLV-NEO, and this time we are recreating the recent appearance of 787B-002, which is preserved at Mazda. It is basically the same as when it won in 1991, but Stickers have been added to various parts of the body. The front and rear cowlings are removable, allowing you to see the internal mechanisms. Being able to line up the timeless 787Bs is one of the joys of miniature cars. *The antenna is a user-installed part.
